Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Dee Lohan (born July 2, 1986) is an American actress and pop music singer. Lohan started in show business as a child fashion model for magazine advertisement and television commercials. At age 10, she began her acting career in a soap opera; at 11, she made her motion picture debut by playing identical twins in Disney's 1998 remake of The Parent Trap.

Lindsay Lohan candid nude sex tape

Lohan rose to stardom with her leading roles in the films Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded. Her subsequent roles include appearances in A Prairie Home Companion and Bobby. In 2004, Lohan launched a second career in pop music yielding the albums Speak (2004) and A Little More Personal (Raw) (2005).

If several suspicious and grainy screen shots are to be believed, Lindsay Lohan is the latest celeb (in a string of too many) to find herself exposed in an internet-leaked sex tape. The video, which was taken with a camera phone, leaked online Thursday and allegedly depicts Lohan performing a sexual act on her boyfriend of last summer, Calum Best.

Spotted Eagle Ray

Eagle rays (the Myliobatidae family of fish) are a family of mostly large rays living in the open ocean rather than at the bottom of the sea. They are excellent swimmers and are able to jump several metres above the surface. Eagle rays feed on snails, mussels and crustaceans, crushing their shells with their extremely hard teeth.

The taxonomy of this group is uncertain; it is placed either in the order Myliobatiformes or Rajiformes [1]. There are eight genera belonging to the eagle rays: Myliobatis (common eagle rays), Rhinoptera (cownose rays), Pteromylaeus (bull rays), Aetobatus (bonnet rays), Aetomylaeus (smooth tail eagle rays), Californica (bat rays), Mobula (devil rays), and Manta (manta rays). (In some taxonomies the devil rays and manta rays are placed their own family, Mobulidae.)

The spotted eagle ray, Aetobatus narinari, also known as the bonnet ray or maylan, belongs to this genus. It is a very beautiful ray, bearing numerous white spots on its inky blue body. It has a span width of 2.5 m (8 ft) and a maximum reported weight of 230 kg[2]. Including the tail, it can reach up to 5 m (16 ft) in length. The spotted eagle ray is distributed in the tropical areas of all oceans, including the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.

This is considered an endangered species due to huge pressure from fisheries throughout its range.

A 55-year-old woman from Michigan died Thursday in a freak accident in which she was struck by a 75-pound spotted eagle ray that jumped out of the Atlantic Ocean just off the shore of Key Colony Beach near Marathon, said Bobby Dube, spokesperson for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday)

Holy Week in Christianity is the last week before Easter. It includes the religious holidays of Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday) and Good Friday, and lasts from Palm Sunday (or in the East, Lazarus Saturday) until but not including Easter Sunday, as Easter Sunday is the first day of the new season of The Great Fifty Days. It commemorates the last week of the earthly life of Jesus Christ culminating in his crucifixion on Good Friday and his resurrection on Easter Sunday.

In the Christian liturgical calendar, Maundy Thursday or Holy Thursday is the feast or holy day falling on the Thursday before Easter that commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles. It is the fifth day of Holy Week, and is preceded by Holy Wednesday and followed by Good Friday.

On this day four events are commemorated: the washing of the Disciples' feet by Jesus Christ, the institution of the Mystery of the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper, the agony of Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane, the betrayal of Christ by Judas Iscariot.

Vernal Equinox

Equinox can have two meanings:
The moment when the Sun is positioned directly over the Earth's equator and, by extension, the apparent position of the Sun at that moment—see below.
The time at which the vernal point, celestial equator, and other such elements are taken to be used in the definition of a celestial coordinate system—see Equinox (celestial coordinates)
An equinox in astronomy is that moment in time (not a whole day) when the centre of the Sun can be observed to be directly above the Earth's equator, occurring around March 20 and September 23 each year.

More technically, at an equinox, the Sun is at one of two opposite points on the celestial sphere where the celestial equator (i.e. declination 0) and ecliptic intersect. These points of intersection are called equinoctial points—the vernal point and the autumnal point. By extension, the term equinox may be used to denote an equinoctial point.

Auto Insurance Price Quotes

Vehicle insurance (also known as auto insurance, car insurance, or motor insurance) is insurance purchased for cars, trucks, and other vehicles. Its primary use is to provide protection against losses incurred as a result of traffic accidents and against liability that could be incurred in an accident.

Linoln Auto Insurance Commercial

Public policy
In many jurisdictions it is compulsory to have vehicle insurance before using or keeping it on public roads. Most jurisdictions relate insurance to both the car and the driver, however the degree of each varies greatly.

A 1994 study by Jeremy Jackson and Roger Blackman showed, consistent with the risk homeostasis theory, that increased accident costs caused large and significant reductions in accident frequencies.

Seán O'Casey

Seán O'Casey (Irish: Seán Ó Cathasaigh) (30 March 1880 – 18 September 1964) was a major Irish dramatist and memoirist. A committed nationalist and socialist, he was the first Irish playwright of note to write about the Dublin working classes.

His plays are particularly noted for the sympathetic treatment of female characters.

O'Casey and the Abbey
O'Casey's first accepted play, The Shadow of a Gunman, was performed on the stage of the Abbey Theatre in 1923. This was the beginning of a relationship that was to be fruitful for both theatre and dramatist, but that ended in some bitterness.

The play deals with the impact of revolutionary politics on Dublin's slums and their inhabitants. It was followed by Juno and the Paycock (1924) and The Plough and the Stars (1926), probably O'Casey's two finest plays.

The former deals with the impact of the Irish Civil War on the working class poor of the city, while the latter is set in Dublin in 1916 around the Easter Rising, which was, in fact, a middle-class affair, not a reaction by the poor.

The Plough and the Stars, an anti-war play, was misinterpreted by the Abbey audience as being anti-nationalist and resulted in scenes reminiscent of the riots that greeted Synge's The Playboy of the Western World in 1907. Regardless, O'Casey gave up his job and became a full-time writer.

Juno and the Paycock was successfully filmed by Alfred Hitchcock. In 1959 O'Casey gave his blessing to a musical adaptation of the play by American composer Marc Blitzstein. The musical, retitled Juno, was a commercial failure, closing after only 16 Broadway performances. It was also panned by some critics as being too "dark" to be an appropriate musical, a genre then almost invariably associated with light comedy. However, the music, which survives in a cast album made before the show opened, has since been regarded as some of Blitzstein's best work. Although endorsed by O'Casey, he, at age 79, made no effort to cross the Atlantic to contribute any input to the production or even to view it in its brief run prior to its closing. Despite general agreement on the brilliance of the underlying material, the musical has defied all efforts to mount any successful revival of it.

Robert Alan Soloway is the founder of the so-called "Strategic Partnership Against Microsoft Illegal Spam," or SPAMIS, but is said to be one of the Internet's biggest spammers through his company, Newport Internet Marketing (NIM). Komo TV: 'King of spam' arrested in Seattle

Pleaded guilty in March 2008
On March 14, 2008 Robert Soloway reached an agreement with federal prosecutors, two weeks before his scheduled trial on 40 charges. Soloway pleaded guilty to three charges: felony mail fraud, fraud in connection with e-mail, and failing to file a 2005 tax return. In exchange, federal prosecutors dropped all other charges. Soloway faces up to 26 years in prison on the most serious charge, and up to $625,000 total in fines.

Rafer Alston, skip to my lou

Rafer Jamel Alston, also known as Skip To My Lou or Skip 2 My Lou (born July 24, 1976 in Queens, New York City), is an American professional basketball player currently with the NBA's Houston Rockets.

The Last of the True Playground Legends, Rafer Alston

Streetball legend
Alston grew up in Jamaica, Queens as a street basketball legend and has received most of his recognition for that aspect of his career. In high school at Benjamin N. Cardozo High School he played in only 10 games his last two years but managed to score 319 points. He first came into the public spotlight for his starring in the And1 Mixtape Volume 1. In this mixtape, it had him performing his legendary dribbling moves on future NBA star Stephon Marbury. Alston attended California State University at Fresno and was drafted after his junior year at Fresno State by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round. He was the 39th pick overall in the 1998 NBA Draft.

His nickname Skip To My Lou stemmed from his tendency to skip while dribbling the ball upcourt. He played in several prominent streetball tournaments including the Entertainer's Basketball Classic, the North American street basketball tour, the AND1 Mixtape Tour, and the ESPN TV show, Street Ball. It is said that, during a streetball tournament at the legendary Rucker Park in Harlem, Alston once performed what most would regard as an impossible move: during a fastbreak, he supposedly glided in the paint for a layup attempt but made a change of plans in the air as he rolled the ball down his right arm, across his shoulder and down his left arm to a trailing player for a finishing dunk. Since 2006, Alston has served as the spokesperson for the Houston Rockets Blacktop Battle -- a popular 3-on-3 tournament held every spring in Houston.

NCAA selection sunday

The selection process for College Basketball's NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship determines which 65 teams will enter the tournament, known as March Madness, and where they will be seeded and placed in the bracket. It is done by a special selection committee appointed by the NCAA. Thirty teams have automatic bids by winning their conference tournament; the Ivy League regular-season champion receives an automatic bid because the Ivy League has no conference tournament [1]. Therefore, only 34 teams (the at-large bids) rely on the selection committee to secure them a spot in the tournament. The selection process primarily takes place on Selection Sunday and the days leading up to it. Selection Sunday is also when the brackets and seeds are released to the public.

The procedure is virtually identical for the NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Championship except that there is no play-in game. There are 33 at-large bids in the women's tournament, for a total of 64 teams, and selections are announced the following day, or Selection Monday.

Georgia Dome Incident

The Georgia Dome is a domed stadium located in Atlanta, Georgia that is owned and operated by the State of Georgia.

georgia dome incident

Storm Rips Holes in Georgia Dome
ATLANTA (AP) — A severe storm ripped away two panels in the side of the Georgia Dome during the Southeastern Conference tournament, sending debris tumbling from the ceiling, halting the Alabama-Mississippi State game and prompting fans to flee for the exits.

The Georgia Dome was completed in 1992 at a cost of $214 million (US) which came from the Georgia General Assembly making it one of the largest state funded construction projects in state history. It seats 71,228 for football, and can hold approximately: 75,000 for concerts, 53,000 for basketball when the dome is fully open and 40,000 for basketball and gymnastics when the dome is sectioned off(one half closed off by a large curtain). The structure is located on 9.19 acres (37,200 m²) of land; the dome has a height of 270.67 feet (82.5 meters), a structure length of 744.75 feet (227 meters), a structure width of 606.96 feet (185 meters), and a total floor area of 102,149.51 ft² (9,490 m²). The dome is the largest cable-supported dome in the world. Its roof is made of teflon-coated fiberglass fabric (which is strong and lightweight) and has an area of 374,584.08 ft² (34,800 m²). From its completion until the December 31, 1999 opening of the 20-acre Millennium Dome in London, it was the largest domed structure of any type in the world, but still remains the largest indoor sporting facility in the United States.

Emperors Club VIP Photos of Kristen etc.

PageSix.com can reveal a portfolio description from the Emperors Club web site which could depict the "Kristen" mentioned in the Governor Eliot Spitzer prostitution case.

Ashley Alexandra Dupré

http://emperors-spokesmodels.com/ Website Disabled

The Emperors Club VIP was an alleged prostitution ring based in New York. The company was founded in or about August 2004, and operated multiple front bank accounts with names like "QAT Consulting Group, INC" and "QAT International, INC". Suspicious money transfers to these accounts by Eliot Spitzer, governor of New York State (US), prompted a federal investigation of Emperors Club VIP leading to its demise in March 2008 (prostitution is, with few exceptions, illegal in the United States).

In its heyday, the Emperors Club VIP was an international escort agency that solicited wealthy male clients via a web site that rated its women on a scale from three to seven diamonds (and charged accordingly). As of March 11, 2008, the Emperors Club VIP website, emperorsclubvip.com, has been shut down. The ring had 50 call girls available for appointments in New York, Washington, Miami, London and Paris, according to a complaint unsealed in Federal District Court in Manhattan. The appointments, made by telephone or through an online booking service, cost between $1,000 and $5,500 per hour and could be paid by cash, credit cards, wire transfers or money orders. A woman who was top-rated (seven diamonds) could cost as much as $31,000 per day.

Definition of pi

Pi or π is one of the most important mathematical constants, approximately equal to 3.14159. It represents the ratio of any circle's circumference to its diameter in Euclidean geometry, which is the same as the ratio of a circle's area to the square of its radius. Many formulas from mathematics, science, and engineering include π.

Definition of pi
In Euclidean plane geometry, π is defined as the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter: π=c/d
Note that the ratio c/d does not depend on the size of the circle. For example, if a circle has twice the diameter d of another circle it will also have twice the circumference c, preserving the ratio c/d. This fact is a consequence of the similarity of all circles.

Lara Flynn Boyle

Lara Flynn Boyle guests on Law & Order (NBC, 10 ET/PT) as an overly ambitious reporter who interferes in the latest investigation. And what an issue-packed investigation it is, complete with dogfighting, wine dealing and, of course, media misbehavior.

Ashley Alexandra Dupré, Eliot Spitzer and Emperors Club VIP

Ashley Alexandra Dupré, who was born Ashley Youmans, is 22, an aspiring R&B singer, the product of "a broken home," and, of course, gorgeous. But she's so much more. The Times gets a great deal of its biographical data from Dupré's MySpace page, which is really quite something.

Excerpts from her MySpace bio:
When I was 17, I left home. It was my decision and I've never looked back. Left my hometown. Left a broken family. Left abuse. Left an older brother who had already split. Left and learned what it was like to have everything, and lose it, again and again. Learned what it was like to wake up one day and have the people you care about most gone. I have been alone. I have abused drugs. I have been broke and homeless. But, I survived, on my own. I am here, in NY because of my music.

Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal
On March 10, 2008, The New York Times reported that Democratic New York Governor Eliot Spitzer had on the evening of February 13, 2008 patronized a high class prostitution service called Emperors Club VIP and met for over two hours with a $1,000-an-hour call girl now known to be named Ashley DiPietro in an extra room that Spitzer rented for the purpose at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.. The room, Number 871, had been registered under the name of an uninvolved friend, George Fox, and Spitzer's Fifth Avenue Manhattan address.

Jai Guru Deva Om

Jai Guru Deva om

It was said in the beatles song "Across the Universe". Most simple translation is:

"I give thanks to Guru Dev (heavenly teacher) om"

Om is just a sound. However a more detailed translation is:

"Jai" means "O Hail" or "Victory to"
"Guru" means "Teacher"
"Deva" means "God/Lord/Demi-God&q uot;
"om" some say is the source of all existence that comes from vibration

Note Guru Dev was a Maharishi's teacher

Jai guru deva om

Across the Universe" is a song by The Beatles that first appeared on a charity release in December 1969, and later, in modified form, on their final album, Let It Be. The song features John Lennon singing lead, who was also the primary composer (though, as with all Beatles songs written by either composer, the song is credited to Lennon/McCartney).

US Army To Replace F-177 Jets With F-22 Raptor

After 27 years of service in US Army the famous fighter jets F-177 will be replaced by F-22 Raptor having the same stealth technology.

F22 Raptor

The Lockheed Martin/Boeing F-22 Raptor is an American fighter aircraft that uses stealth technology. It is primarily an air superiority fighter, but has multiple capabilities including ground attack, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence roles. The United States Air Force considers the F-22 a critical component of the U.S. strike force.

Stealth
Although several recent Western fighter aircraft are less detectable on radar than previous designs using techniques such as radar absorbent material-coated S-shaped intake ducts that shield the compressor fan from reflecting radar waves, the F-22A design placed a much higher degree of importance on low observance throughout the entire spectrum of sensors including radar signature, visual, infrared, acoustic, and radio frequency.

Casey Knowles, Girl in Hillary's 3am Ad Supports Obama

Casey Knowles, the young girl in the 3am Hillary Clinton commercial, is an avid Barack Obama supporter and is upset that she was featured in the ad.

Knowles was eight years old in the ad. Ten years later, Knowles, 18, has campaigned vigorously for Obama, while the decade-old commercial airs in favor of her political competitor.

Girl in Hillary's 3am Ad Supports Obama

NOW THE STORY THAT'S STARTING TO MAKE THE ROUNDS TODAY: Casey Knowles turns out to be one of the children used in Clinton's "3 AM" ad (here, along with all its Republican "be afraid. be very afraid" antecedents), which used stock film footage from several years ago. And Casey Knowles, who had no idea her image was being used in Clinton's ad, is now not only a high school student government leader, but also a Democratic precinct captain and -- consistent with her hope for change -- a fervent Obama supporter.

NovaDreamer

The NovaDreamer brings the lucid dream state within reach of everyone.

The NovaDreamer detects when you’re in REM sleep, then gives you a cue (flashing lights or sounds) to remind you to recognize you are dreaming. Cues enter your dream, becoming incorporated just like an alarm or radio will sometimes work its way into a dream. For example, NovaDreamer users have reported: “I see a beautiful pattern of gold and yellow diamonds that fills my field of vision...,” and “I'm surrounded by the popping of flash bulbs with afterimages of orange circles...,” and “I see a flash of light and press the button. No flash. I think, ‘This is great; I must be dreaming!’”

Lucid Dreaming on Fox 5

A lucid dream, also known as a conscious dream, is a dream in which the person is aware that he or she is dreaming while the dream is in progress. During lucid dreams, it is possible to exert conscious control over the dream characters and environment, as well as to perform otherwise physically impossible feats. Lucid dreams can be extremely real and vivid depending on a person's level of self-awareness during the lucid dream.

Daylight Saving Time Begins Sunday at 2 a.m.

Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday at 2 a.m. Turn Clock 1 Hour Ahead to 'Spring Forward'. This mean the days will be a little longer -- and most people will lose an hour's sleep.

How to Prepare for Daylight Saving Time

Daylight saving time (DST) is the convention of advancing clocks so that afternoons have more daylight and mornings have less. Typically clocks are adjusted forward one hour near the start of spring and are adjusted backward in autumn. Modern DST was first proposed in 1907 by William Willett. Many countries have used it since then; details vary by location and change occasionally.

The practice is controversial. Adding daylight to afternoons benefits retailing, sports, and other activities that exploit sunlight after working hours, but causes problems for farming, entertainment and other occupations tied to the sun. Extra afternoon daylight reduces traffic fatalities; its effect on health and crime is less clear. An early goal of DST was to reduce evening usage of incandescent lighting, formerly a primary use of electricity; modern heating and cooling usage patterns can cause DST to increase electricity consumption.

Megan's Law

http://www.meganslaw.com
Megan's Law Sex Offender Reports
Detailed Sex Offender Reports based on the Sex Offender Registration Act of 1996
Does a sexual offender live in your neighborhood?
Protect your children...know which sex predators live near you!

Megan's Law is an informal name for laws in the United States requiring law enforcement authorities to make information available to the public regarding registered sex offenders.

Individual states decide what information will be made available and how it be disseminated. Commonly included information includes the offender's name, picture, address, incarceration date, and nature of crime. The information is often displayed on free public websites, but can be published in newspapers, distributed in pamphlets, or through various other means.

At the federal level, Megan's Law is known as the Sexual Offender (Jacob Wetterling) Act of 1994 and requires persons convicted of sex crimes against children to notify local law enforcement of any change of address or employment after release from custody (prison, psychiatric facility). The notification requirement may be imposed for a fixed period of time - usually at least ten years - or permanently.

Some states may legislate registration for all sex crimes, even if no minors were involved. It is a felony in most jurisdictions to fail to register or fail to update information.

B'more's own Dru Hill gets back together live on 92Q...

Dru Hill is an American singing group, most popular during the late 1990s, whose repertoire included R&B, soul, and gospel music. Founded in Baltimore, Maryland and active since 1992, Dru Hill recorded seven Top 40 hits, and is best known for the R&B #1 hits "In My Bed", "Never Make a Promise", and "How Deep is Your Love".
Tamir "Nokio" Ruffin was the group's founder and leader; his bandmates included main lead singer Mark "Sisqó" Andrews, Larry "Jazz" Anthony, and James "Woody Rock" Green. Signing to Island Records through Haqq Islam's University Records imprint, Dru Hill released two successful LPs before separating for a period from late 1999 to 2002, during which time Sisqó and Woody released solo albums. While Woody's Soul Music LP was a moderate success in the gospel music industry, Sisqó's Unleash the Dragon LP and its hit single "Thong Song" were major successes, and established Sisqó as a household name outside of Dru Hill.

Elizabeth Shoaf

Vinson Filyaw is a 37-year-old, former construction worker convicted of kidnapping and raping a 14-year-old Lugoff, South Carolina girl, holding her captive in an underground bunker. This bunker had been constructed in order to elude police who were seeking to arrest Filyaw on an unrelated rape charge. Filyaw's girlfriend was also arrested on charges of aiding and abetting the abduction.

The victim, whose name is Elizabeth Shoaf, was kidnapped after she alighted her school bus on September 6, 2006. Filyaw gained her trust by posing as a police officer. He walked his victim around in the woods until she became disoriented and then marched her to a hand-dug 15-foot bunker near his trailer home, located within a mile of her own home. After more than a week, the victim convinced Filyaw to let her borrow his cellular phone to play games, but she had an entirely different use in mind. Her text message to her mother led police to the bunker where she had been held for ten days. Police used cell towers to locate the bunker.

Filyaw had equipped the entrance of the bunker with a booby-trap, according to police.

Rare Photo Of Helen Keller Found

Rare Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan Picture Found

A rare picture of Helen Keller and her teacher Anne Sullivan has been found by researchers. The photo dates back to 1888 when Keller was only 8-years-old. The photo shows Sullivan holding Keller’s hand while the girl is cradling her baby doll.

The Miracle Worker final scene

Helen Adams Keller (June 27, 1880 – June 1, 1968) was an American author, activist and lecturer. She was the first deafblind person to graduate from college.

The story of how Keller's teacher, Anne Sullivan, broke through the isolation imposed by a near complete lack of language, allowing the girl to blossom as she learned to communicate, has become known worldwide through the dramatic depictions of The Miracle Worker.

What is less well known is how Keller's life developed after she completed her education. A prolific author, she was well traveled, and was outspoken in her opposition to war. She campaigned for women's suffrage, workers' rights and socialism, as well as many other progressive causes.

Pancreatic cancer

Patrick Swayze battling pancreatic cancer
Dirty Dancing and Ghost star Patrick Swayze, 55, is receiving treatment for pancreatic cancer, his publicist, Annett Wolf, confirms in a statement.

Wolf's statement counters, "Patrick's physician Dr. George Fisher states, 'Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far. All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic.' "

Pancreatic cancer?
Pancreatic cancer is a malignant tumor within the pancreatic gland. Each year about 33,000 individuals in the United States are diagnosed with this condition, and more than 60,000 in Europe. Depending on the extent of the tumor at the time of diagnosis, the prognosis is generally regarded as poor, with few victims still alive five years after diagnosis, and complete remission still extremely rare.

About 95 percent of pancreatic tumors are adenocarcinomas (M8140/3). The remaining 5 percent include other tumors of the exocrine pancreas (e.g., serous cystadenomas), acinar cell cancers, and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (such as insulinomas, M8150/1, M8150/3). These tumors have a completely different diagnostic and therapeutic profile, and generally a more favorable prognosis.

Mothman spreads wings tonight

Mothman is the name given to a being or creature reported in the Charleston and Point Pleasant areas of West Virginia between November 12, 1966, near Clendenin, and December 1967. Most observers describe the Mothman as a winged man-sized creature with large reflective red eyes and large moth-like wings. The creature often appeared to have no head, with its eyes set into its chest. A number of hypotheses have been presented to explain eyewitness accounts, ranging from misidentification and coincidence, to paranormal phenomena and conspiracy theories.

BRANDON "THE THRILL" HILL - Boxing Match

During Big Show's ring introduction, they showed Floyd Mayweather live via satellite watching. Brandon "The Thrill" Hill was anounced at 5-7 and 150 pounds. Ross said Mayweather is 5-8 and 147. He added that he's also 39-0 in boxing with 25 knockouts. Lawler said Floyd is the "exact same size" as Brandon Hill. If exact means an inch taller and 3 pounds less, then yes. During pre-match instructions, Show towered over the skinny Hill. Show absorbed Hill's body punches no sweat, then shoved him into the corner and gave him a big boot to the face. Ross asked if this would be Mayweather's fate at WrestleMania. Show then lifted and powerslammed Hill, stood on his chest, and got a three count victory. Ross said the size differential is "absolutely incredulous." Officials peeled Hill off the mat after the match.

The film stars Bette Davis as Margo Channing, a highly regarded but aging Broadway star. Anne Baxter plays Eve Harrington, a willingly helpful young fan who insinuates herself into Channing's life, ultimately threatening Channing's career and her personal relationships. Gary Merrill, George Sanders, Hugh Marlowe, Celeste Holm and Thelma Ritter also appear, and the film provided one of Marilyn Monroe's earliest important roles.

Praised by critics at the time of its release, All About Eve was nominated for 14 Academy Awards, the largest number of Academy Award nominations for any film, and won six, including Best Picture. Widely regarded as a classic in cinema history, it was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry in 1990, and appeared on the American Film Institute's list of the 100 best American films of the 20th century.

USS New York Set for Christening

The USS New York is now stationed in Avondale, La., where the christening ceremony is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. Central time, according to Northrop Grumman, the ship's manufacturer.

USS NewYork story

USS New York (LPD-21), a San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock, is the fifth ship of the United States Navy to be named for the state of New York. The ship is designed to deliver a fully-equipped battalion of 700 Marines.

Shortly after 11 September 2001, Governor of New York George E. Pataki wrote a letter to Secretary of the Navy Gordon England requesting that the Navy bestow the name USS New York on a surface warship involved in the War on Terror in honor of September 11's victims. In his letter, the Governor said he understood state names are currently reserved for submarines, but asked for special consideration so the name could be given to a surface ship. The request was approved 28 August 2002.

Oddly enough, a previous holder of the name, USS New York (BB-34), had its keel laid on September 11, 1911, exactly 90 years to the day before the WTC was attacked.

Roger Von Bergendorff: Las Vegas Ricin Man

The man hospitalized in Las Vegas after possible exposure to the deadly toxin ricin is Roger Von Bergendorff, according to a man who says he is Von Bergendorff’s cousin.
Thomas Tholen tells The Associated Press his cousin is -- quote -- “holding his own” at a hospital in intensive care.

RICIN found in Las Vegas Motel

Tholen says he’s not ready to talk about Von Bergendorff or the discovery Thursday of several vials of ricin at his cousin’s extended-stay motel room.

Tholen is from Riverton, Utah, near Salt Lake City. He arrived in Las Vegas after Von Bergendorff was hospitalized Feb. 14 in critical condition.

Police are trying to piece together how the rare deadly poison with no antidote ended up at the motel several blocks off the Las Vegas Strip.

Adding to the mystery, police say firearms and an “anarchist type textbook” were found in the same room where the ricin was discovered.

Suzanne Pagella

To classmates at Beaver Area High School in the hills of western Pennsylvania, Suzanne Pagella was a celebrity.

"She made it big in Detroit. She was born for that," Tom Dowlin said. "That's just how we thought about her. She was the first to go out and do what she said she would do."

As a married Suzanne Wangler, she appeared to have it all: a career as a popular television news anchor, a husband who was a former college quarterback, four children.

But at some point, Wangler's life went into free fall, with a divorce, debt and several arrests, including one last week on an embezzlement charge. It ended with a crash last weekend when Wangler's mother found her hanging from a beam in the basement of her Royal Oak home, just north of Detroit.

Wangler's defense attorney, Carl Marlinga, said he was concerned when they spoke at her arraignment.

"I said `Are you depressed? Are you suicidal?'" Marlinga said. "She just kind of laughed it off and said `Don't be silly.'"

But Wangler's life was nothing to make light of. Court and other documents reveal nearly $166,000 in financial judgments against her, multiple traffic citations and driver's license suspensions.

On Feb. 20, she was arraigned on charges that she embezzled more than $149,000 over four months from a man she briefly dated. The 43-year-old also was charged with larceny by conversion.

The charges stemmed from checks cashed in 2006 at a check-cashing business. If convicted, Wangler faced 10 years in prison on each charge.

Police said it was 32 degrees inside her home when she was arrested. The house was in foreclosure.

"When I read about all of the bad, it's so sad because people don't know her. She had such a huge heart," former classmate Jenni Wilson said. "She was fantastic, absolutely the life of the party. She was so full of joy, funny and smart and so ambitious, one of those people who was going to make it in life."

Suzanne Pagella was a member of the cheer squad and wrote for the high school newspaper. She graduated in 1982 and left the small community about 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh for Ohio State University.

Wangler became a familiar face in the Detroit area in the 1990s at UPN 50 and WDIV-TV.

She married former University of Michigan quarterback John Wangler and compiled a cookbook, "A-Maize-Ing Tailgating: Wolverine Cuisine."

"She told me her world came apart on Dec. 9, 1999, when she knew there was likely to be a divorce," said Marlinga, who had known Suzanne Wangler from her early days as a reporter. "She told me she never really got over it."

Wangler left WDIV-TV in 2000 and eventually began selling annuities.

Her divorce became final in 2001, and about five years later she was arrested on allegations of trying to leave a market with a cart of food. Wangler completed a court-ordered diversion program and the charge later was dismissed, said Edward Cibor, warrants division chief for the Oakland County prosecutor's office.

She also was arrested last summer on a charge of operating under the influence with a minor in her vehicle, Cibor said. Wangler pleaded no contest and had been on probation at the time of her death, he said.

She returned to TV news in September when she became a news anchor at WLAJ-TV in Lansing, using the on-air name Suzanne Page. But the embezzlement charges forced her to resign.

"She was making a comeback," Marlinga said. "She was getting her foot in the door."

Marlinga said he last spoke with Wangler on the night of Feb. 22.

"She said she was going to a job fair on Saturday and that she would give me a call," he said. "I thought that was great news and I took it as a hopeful sign.

"I told her to draw on her Catholic faith. `Forgive yourself and you'll come out of this feeling great.' That was the last pep talk I gave her."
