Several school districts delay openings

Because of weather conditions, several local school districts will open later than usual on Friday.

McKinney, Carroll, Carrollton-Farmers, Frisco, Prosper, Little Elm, Anna and Melissa ISD schools will open two hours later than normal start times. Celina, Blue Ridge and Farmersville will open at 10 a.m.

Some private schools, including McKinney Christian Academy, are closed. Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano and Prince of Peace Christian School in Carrollton will open at 10 a,m,
