Trace Adkins

Tracy Darrell (Trace) Adkins (born January 13, 1962 in Sarepta, Louisiana) is an American country music singer-songwriter. He made his debut in 1996 with the single "There's a Girl in Texas", which reached Top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. It was followed by the release of debut album, Dreamin' Out Loud, which also included his first Number One single in 1997's "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing".


Trace Adkins - Swing

Trace Adkins will be the keynote speaker at a Wednesday morning (March 12) news conference about endangered Civil War battlefields. The event at the National Press Club in Washington will include the Civil War Preservation Trust's annual report citing the 10 most-threatened Civil War sites in the U.S. and what is being done to rescue them. Following the news conference, Adkins and Civil War Preservation Trust President James Lighthizer will visit Arlington National Cemetery for a wreath-laying ceremony at the Civil War Unknowns Monument.
