Although the show's broadcast networks have stated he was killed in a climbing accident, Nathan Clutter, one of 11 singles appearing in MyNetworkTV and Fox Reality Channel's upcoming Paradise Hotel revival, actually died in an apparent suicide.

Nathan Clutter, depicted on the show and described on the show's Web site as "the gentleman" of the group, killed himself by jumping from a cell phone tower just a few weeks after filming of "Paradise Hotel 2" wrapped in the fall.
